Re-thinking Acrylic Class

I'm coming down from Acrylic overload...I just completed Patti Brady's class "Re-Thinking Acrylic" and have just added so many things to my "Need to Try" list.  I had purchased the book by Patti about a year ago and added a few new tricks by exploring them on my own but I'm so glad that I was able to take the class. One of the techniques she taught was a monotype print using some on the "Open" Golden Acrylics.  This was so much fun I could have played around all day.  Below are two of the more successful ones...

So much fun!!  I highly recommend taking this class and/or purchasing the book for anyone wanting to explore the possibilities of acrylic paint.

All of this playing with paint is makes me want to try some abstract paintings.  If you're on Pintrest...check out my "Inspirational Art" board and all the wonderful artist I've discovered lately.  Yes...I'm definitely addicted to Pintrest and inspired by all the interiors and art people are pinning. If you're a visual person like me you will want to give it a try...have fun!
