Studio News

Creativity is definitely blooming at Carrier Collective studios as we prepare for our debut at The Suites at Market Square in April. It's always so much fun coming up with creative display ideas for our booth that will help tell our design story as we greet buyers in High Point North Carolina.

From Wall Paper to Paper Mache . . . take a look at what we've been up to!

Exclusive Wallpaper Design

I've always loved pulling interesting compositions out of an original painting.  This wallpaper design was derived from a mixed media painting of a deer.  The colors were modified and the original image cropped to come up with this new cool design.

Wanting to put some of my original fabric designs on furniture, my Design Consultant Mollie and I went in search of vintage chairs to re-upholster.  At a local antique store we found two orange vintage Wing Back chairs that we knew would be good candidates for the fabric.  After refinishing the legs, off to the upholster they went for their transformation.  I'm in love with these chairs and also love that they are truly one of a kind.

Paper Mache Hands will become shelf brackets!

In need of shelving for the display of our pillow line and not finding anything readymade that we wanted, we decided to create our own.  These hands will get primed, painted, and drilled and will hold white shelf boards to function as display for the pillows.

Only a few more weeks to go and we will see you all in North Carolina.  We will be located in The Suites at Market Square in Booth M-2054, 2052!  Come see all the creative designs and our Exclusive Artwork and interior pieces and say hello : D!!
