You never know what's going to happen at the studio these days...take a look at one of the latest projects...once a Kwik-Way heater...now a cool industrial light for the kitchen at Carrier Studio. We love to shop local antique stores and one of our favorites is Shinola where we picked up this old heater. We removed the heating element inside the lamp and replaced it with a porcelain socket, wired it up and then attached it to the ceiling with conduit clamps. It already had this great wood handle which we can now use to position the lamp at the appropriate angle. We chose to use an Edison bulb for a softer light. The results are a one of a kind, vintage, re purposed, industrial, very cool light fixture. Go see Michael at Shinola...a let your imagination soar!!
