Finally... I've had some time to get back to painting. The holidays can really extract the rhythm out of normal routine. Although, the challenges of Coleman's(son) sports schedule...basketball, hockey and now golf, are trying to knock me off balance, I'm starting to get back into a groove.
My first two paintings capture the beautiful fall colors. A ginkgo tree that sits near the banks of the Reedy River in downtown Greenville. Yellow has become one of my favorite colors lately and tends to bring light to a dreary January day.
On to the next blank canvas!
