New Year...New Beginnings

it has been quite some time since i've had a post.  i could list the many reasons but it would become quite boring.  After last years whirlwind I needed some time just to chill out.  I found this pillow at Palmetto Home and Garden...

so that's what I've been doing.  along with the sitting, i've  also been rearranging my studio space.  I love doing this after many months of solid work.  It allows me the opportunity to reintroduce myself  to the many items that i've forgotten about and get inspiration for new work.

slowing down has also afforded me the opportunity to visit with friends.  today i had lunch with a new friend...chuck pearson of The Brown Rooster.  chuck has been an interior designer in Greenville for many years and has a FABULOUS antiques shop on Lauren Road in Greenville.  a must visit for those of you who love antiques, lamps, pillows, rugs, etc...you get the picture.  The Brown Rooster will also be consigning some of my original work so definately stop by and check out the goods.

This weekend I hope to begin with the installation of the kitchen...the last interior component and then I can move back outside to finish up this spring.  Oh...can't wait for spring, i'm so ready.
